FBI Director Kash Patel on Monday evening revealed that Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson wrote in a text that if he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, he would do it, saying, “some hatred cannot be negotiated with.”

Patel disclosed the text messages while appearing on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show.

“A text message exchange where he, the suspect, specifically stated that he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and he was going to do that, and when he was asked why, he said, ‘Some hatred cannot be negotiated with,’” Kash Patel said.

Tyler Robinson confessed in a Discord group chat with his friends two hours before he was taken into custody: “It was me at UVU yesterday.”

Earlier Monday, it was reported that according to screenshots obtained by the Washington Post, Robinson told the group of 30 people, “Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. im sorry for all of this. im surrendering through a sheriff friend in a few moments. thanks for all the good times and laughs.”

Kash Patel also revealed there is DNA evidence on a screwdriver left on the Losee building rooftop and a towel wrapped around a rifle that links Tyler Robinson to the crime.
