Mortgage Fraud Mayhem: Dems No Longer Above the Law Because of President Trump

President Donald Trump is cracking down on Democratic elites who believe their status puts them above the law.

With Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director Bill Pulte leading the charge, President Trump is confronting corrupt Democratic leaders, like Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, Senator Adam Schiff, and New York Attorney General Letitia James, ensuring that accountability happens for their financial misconduct.

Lisa Cook, a Biden-appointed Fed Governor, faces her second DOJ criminal referral in 2025 for alleged mortgage fraud. FHFA Director Pulte accused her of claiming a Michigan home and an Atlanta condo as primary residences to secure better loan terms.

A native-Michigan reporter, Charlie LeDuff, exposed further deceit, finding renters at Cook’s “primary” Ann Arbor home, making clear the fact that she is just another entitled DEI scamster.

Cook, dismissing the claims as clerical errors, sued to block Trump’s August 26, 2025, firing attempt, but Pulte insists: “Claiming multiple homes as primary while renting them out is fraud.” Trump’s DOJ escalates its probe, poised to bring justice to appointees who were formerly above accountability.

Senator Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff, a California Democrat who led Trump’s first impeachment when he was a U.S. Congressman, faces allegations of mortgage fraud for claiming dual primary residences in Maryland and California to secure favorable loan terms. From 2003 to 2019, Schiff and his wife misrepresented a $870,000 Potomac, Maryland, home as their primary residence on five Fannie Mae-backed loans, despite Schiff representing California in Congress.

Refinancing filings in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2013 reaffirmed this, while he simultaneously claimed a Burbank, California, condo as his primary residence for a $7,000 tax exemption. A Fannie Mae memo cites a “sustained pattern of possible occupancy misrepresentation,” noting Schiff didn’t list the Maryland home as secondary until 2020.

As Schiff is ripping off Americans for cheaper rates, he believes his elite status shields his illicit activity, dismissing the probe as a “baseless hit job” meant as political retribution, with attorney Preet Bharara calling it “weaponization of justice.” Yet, the records clearly expose Schiff’s fraud, as Trump’s DOJ, spearheaded by Ed Martin, pursues a Maryland grand jury to expose his two-faced ethical charade.

New York Attorney General Letitia James reportedly committed mortgage fraud tied to a 2023 Norfolk, Virginia home purchase, a Brooklyn property, and a Queens transaction back in 1983. FHFA Director Bill Pulte states that James claimed the $305,000 Virginia home as her primary residence to secure lower interest rates, despite residing in Brooklyn. A 2023 power-of-attorney document authorized her niece to purchase the property, falsely listing it as her “principal residence,” though emails clarified she would not live there. Pulte claims James misrepresented her Brooklyn brownstone as a four-unit dwelling since 2001 to qualify for better loans, contradicting its certificate of occupancy.

Trump accurately branded James a “wacky crook” on Truth Social, demanding her resignation, as she believed her prosecutorial clout could shield her deceit; however, the DOJ subpoenas and a Virginia grand jury probe are delivering a crushing blow to James, proving the justice system is working once again. Bill Pulte’s FHFA role unmasks the fraud of Democrat elites, shattering their veil of privilege. Critics on the left cry “weaponization,” but when ordinary Americans face prison for mortgage fraud, why should powerful Democrats skate free?

Trump’s ironclad resolve ensures justice prevails as no elite is untouchable.
