Arizona Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs got lit up on social media after she ridiculously claimed credit for President Trump’s no-tax-on-tips platform last week.

Notably, the message came just days after Trump-Endorsed Republican gubernatorial candidate Andy Biggs won his primary election in a landslide.

It can be recalled that Kamala Harris also tried to steal Trump’s No Tax on Tips proposal, announcing during an August 2024 rally that she would “eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.” Trump had already been talking about his proposal throughout 2024, but Kamala put forth the totally original idea as the first policy after being installed as the Democratic Nominee.

Arizona’s fraudster-in-chief released the following video on X last week, taking credit for the state’s policy of eliminating taxes on tips and saying, “Families struggle with high costs because of Washington’s misguided policies,” a not-so-subtle jab at the Trump Administration.

She conveniently failed to mention, however, that the Republican State Legislature passed the provision as part of the 2026 budget, which sought to mirror Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill.

    WATCH:

No tax on tips. Here in Arizona, we eliminated taxes on tips so that service workers like the guys here at Chili Pepper in Yuma can keep every dollar they earn through tips. As families struggle with high costs because of Washington’s misguided policies, I’m working to put more money in Arizonans’ pockets, and we did just that with my fourth bipartisan balance budget that cut taxes for hardworking families.

In Fact, Hobbs was not only not responsible for the tax cut, but she wanted to raise taxes on Arizonans.

According to the Arizona Daily Sun, “While having to accept larger tax cuts than she wanted, Hobbs also had to give up on her plans to raise various taxes and fees to fund the $18.7 billion budget she proposed in January, a plan that would have funded various new and expanded programs.” This included state tax laws that conform to federal statutes, which she had reportedly referred to as “hundreds of millions of dollars in tax breaks to special interests.”

Hobbs even stole 2022 competitor Kari Lake’s campaign slogan when she signed the bill, which included provisions she opposed, admitting it would “put Arizona first.” Lake, the star GOP candidate whose election was stolen by just 17,100 votes out of over 2.5 million, first coined the famed “Arizona first” slogan.

Just like Hobbs stole the 2022 election, where machines at 60% of voting centers in the state’s largest county failed to tabulate votes on election day, she is now stealing credit for Conservative wins.

Hobbs got “ratioed” on her X post, which had over 2,600 comments mainly attacking her for lying, and just 258 reposts and 595 likes as of Monday night.
