This could be the next governor of Virginia.

Abigail Spanberger is on video saying that it is horrific that the Trump administration is treating the illegal entry into our country as a crime.

    The Gateway Pundit reported,

Illegal immigration was one of the top issues of the 2024 election, but Abigail Spanberger, the Democrat running for governor of Virginia doesn’t seem to appreciate that.

In a video circulating on social media, Spanberger says that it’s ‘horrifying’ that under the current administration that crossing the border illegally is considered a criminal act.

Perhaps that is because it is a violation of federal immigration law. What is it about this basic fact that Democrats cannot seem to grasp?

Breaking the law is considered a crime, because it is a crime.

    8 U.S. Code § 1325 states,

Any alien who (1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or (2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or (3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.

What she is suggesting is total open borders.

    The Gateway Pundit continued,

This is obviously one of the reasons why the governor race in Virginia is now essentially tied. If elected, Spanberger is going to go right back to Democrat business as usual. She wants to ignore the mandate of the 2024 election.

She has already vowed to undo much of the work done on this issue by the current Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin.

To make matters worse, amidst all of this she still refuses to demand that Jay Jones drop out of the race for Attorney General after saying he wanted to murder his political opponent.

The Democrat party is in a deeply unhealthy place.
