CNN’s Abby Phillip shocks with criticism of Obama – Screencap of Twitter/X video.

CNN’s Abby Phillip surprised audiences this week by agreeing with Donald Trump Jr. that Obama should have mentioned President Trump in his recent tweet about the Middle East peace deal.

It’s amazing if you consider the network and Abby’s record.

What was not surprising was Obama’s tweet. He just couldn’t bring himself to mention Trump’s name.

This is the full text of Obama’s tweet:

After two years of unimaginable loss and suffering for Israeli families and the people of Gaza, we should all be encouraged and relieved that an end to the conflict is within sight; that those hostages still being held will be reunited with their families; and that vital aid can start reaching those inside Gaza whose lives have been shattered. This was Donald Trump Jr.’s follow-up tweet:

I’ll finish it for you. “Thank you, Donald Trump” https://t.co/MDzhimsLWL

This was Abby Phillip’s response on CNN, via Mediaite:

CNN’s Abby Phillip called out former President Barack Obama for conspicuously failing to mention that President Donald Trump brokered a peace deal between Israel and Hamas, saying Obama should have probably given the commander-in-chief credit if he is going to bother posting about the deal at all.

Phillip shared her thoughts on CNN’s Table for Five on Saturday morning.

“Honestly, it’s not unfair to say, if President Obama is going to write a whole post about a peace deal, maybe he should acknowledge the president who brokered it,” she said.
