Abby Phillip struggles to admit Trump might be right – Screencap of Twitter/X video.

This week on CNN as host Abby Phillip was talking to her panel, she admitted that Trump’s Middle East policy may work and that if it does, it will be a major victory for him.

What was telling, was the way she said it. She practically choked as she said the words.

These people do not want Trump to succeed at anything. If he does, their entire world view crumbles around them. They would actually rather be right about their anti-Trump bias than see the country or the world do well under President Trump.

Partial transcript via Redwave Press on Twitter/X:

Abby Phillip: “If President Trump is able to [end the war between Israel and Hamas] this is a major — a major victory for him.”

Alencia Johnson: “It is challenging to actually hear that piece of Trump being potentially the one to get the ceasefire deal.”

“A lot of people are tired of the devastation that is happening to the Palestinian people, and so how do we figure out a way — a path forward?”

“I would be interested to understand President Trump’s interest in this because he has said some things that are very harmful to the Palestinian people.”

“I don’t know what his motivations are.”

Things are looking good at the moment.

Even liberal NBC News is reporting it positively:

Hamas agrees to release all Israeli hostages, pending conditions

Hamas said it has agreed to release all Israeli hostages, alive or dead, as long as “the field conditions for the exchange are met” and expressed willingness to negotiate through mediators on President Donald Trump’s plan for peace in the Middle East.

In its statement on Friday, Hamas said that the group “affirms its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations through the mediators to discuss the details of this agreement.”

“The movement also renews its agreement to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian body of independents (technocrats), based on Palestinian national consensus and Arab and Islamic support,” Hamas said.

Hamas was responding to a 20-point peace plan Trump outlined on Monday at the White House alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

If Trump pulls this off, and he just might, he truly does deserve a Nobel Peace Prize.
