Victoria’s Secret featured transgender model Alex Consani, 22, walking the runway in women’s lingerie during their 2025 Fashion Show.

Consani, who made history last year as one of the brand’s first openly transgender models alongside Valentina Sampaio, returned to the catwalk, drawing sharp reactions from critics who argue the company is continuing to cater to woke nonsense.

Consani, who at age 12 became the world’s youngest transgender model, joined veterans like Bella Hadid, Jasmine Tookes (who walked while visibly nine months pregnant), and Emily Ratajkowski.

Plus-size models such as Paloma Elsesser, Ashley Graham, and Yumi Nu also appeared, as did Sampaio.

Victorias Secret women’s Fashion show had two TRANS models walking the runway while modeling women’s underwear.

    The Daily Mail reports:

Yet she wasn’t the only model to make an impact on the runway, as Angel Jasmine Tookes opened the show while nine months pregnant, while Emily Ratajkowski made her debut aged 34.

The average age of retirement for a Victoria’s Secret model is 28, however the brand signaled a return to its classic ‘glitzy and sensual’ style and featured many veteran stars as it tries to ramp up sales, following a turn toward so-called ‘woke’ posturing.

Victoria’s Secret has faced declining sales and cultural criticism in recent years, with many attributing the slump to its shift toward progressive messaging.

The inclusion of transgender models in 2024 marked a first for the brand, but rather than backing away, the company leaned in for 2025.

Public backlash was swift on social media.

One X user quipped, “Victor’s Secret,” mocking the brand’s direction. Another lamented, “Stealing a job from a real woman,” while others called for boycotts, questioning why sales continue to suffer if this is what women want.

Liberals, on the other hand, celebrated the win for men dressing up as women in the name of “diversity.”

For a brand once synonymous with unattainable glamour, featuring men in women’s underwear strikes many as a step too far.
