Victor Davis Hanson and Newsmax‘s Rob Finnerty weigh in on New York Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani and his true intentions on what he would do to the city if elected. Mamdani’s Islamic extremism combined with his Marxist ideology has a major cause for concern.

“Mamdani wants to normalize radical Islam. He’s already doing it, and if he wins, my question, does this spread across the country?” Finnerty asked.

“It’s hard to know. It depends on how much he wins by and how careful he is to reveal himself,” Hanson said.

Hanson explained that although Mamdani is a radical, he appears to be very careful with his choice of groups that he speaks to.

“He’s spoken so often in this socialist, communist, radical Islamic fashion, but it’s always been to selective audiences. He never gets out on the stump and says that, so, and he has a media shield,” Hanson said.

“I would imagine if he gets elected by more than 10 points, then he will be confident and he will try to spread this creed,” Hanson explained.

“The people who are the most scared right now is the old guard of the Democratic Party, I think the Schumers, and Pelosis, even Bernie Sanders,” Hanson said.

Finnerty expressed concern about the long term consequences that New York would face if Mamdani was elected. One of them being the Muslim call to prayer 5 times a day like the city of Minneapolis has to constantly deal with.

“Here is the Muslim call to prayer ok, this is what 2 million people living in Minneapolis have to hear 5 times a day,” Finnerty said.

“And Victor, this is what’s going to happen in New York City if Mamdani wins. Do you agree with that?” Finnerty asked.

    “Ya, I do,” Hanson said.

Hanson explained that if a Christian preacher had an amplification system at a store front church, the city would shut him down. He explained that the authorities are too scared to apply that to the Islamic call to prayer.

“They are terrified of it. They are terrified of it. I know that most Muslims don’t endorse terrorism, but they feel that if they should apply a uniform standard to Islam, there is going to be radical elements of that faith that are gonna go after,” Hanson said.

“Those views Victor don’t align with the views of the majority of the people in this country. This is a Christian country,” Finnerty said.

Mamdani posed for a picture with an unindicted co-conspirator of the first World Trade Center bombing, which took place in 1993.

“If you pose with a 9/11 terrorist, which is what he is doing. This is last weekend, not 8 years ago, this is last weekend in New York city, you are being very open about who you really are,” Finnerty continued.

“What does New York City look like in 5 years Victor, if this guy wins in 12 days?” Finnerty asked.

“I think we know what it’s going to look like. It’s gonna look like his campaign,” Hanson said.

“They would give him no margin of error if he criticized that Imam or he in any way criticized Islam,” Hanson explained.
