    Kebatu is a living portrait of dystopian Britain.

    Meet Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu. The Ethiopian ‘Asylum Seeker’ (a.k.a. illegal migrant) lived on the British taxpayers’ dime in a luxury hotel in Epping, with money to spend around.

    Kebatu decided that all this was not enough, so he sexually assaulted a local girl – and ignited one of the biggest anti-immigrant citizen protests in the UK.

    As for Kebatu, he was arrested and imprisoned, until the unbelievable (but ever more common) happened.

    CNN reported:

    British police said Saturday they were scouring hours of closed-circuit TV recordings to find an asylum-seeker sentenced for sexual assault who was mistakenly released from prison.

    Ethiopian national Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, 38, was ‘last seen in the London area’,’ Essex Police said Saturday, adding that officers from three separate forces were working together in the investigation.”

    “He was sentenced in September to 12 months in prison for five offenses, including the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in July in Epping, on the outskirts of London, just over a week after he had arrived in England by boat.

    Authorities said they were alerted Friday afternoon that Kebatu was released by mistake at a prison in Chelmsford, Essex, and was seen catching a train there. British media reported that he was wrongly categorized as a prisoner due to be released, instead of being sent to an immigration detention center.”

    Daily Mail reported:

    “Earlier on Saturday a delivery driver said he witnessed prison staff giving the ‘confused’ sex offender migrant directions to Chelmsford train station after he stood outside prison after his accidental release for 90 minutes.

    The driver, called Sim, said he witnessed the wrongly freed sex attacker being repeatedly told to go to the train station and saying to staff ‘I don’t know what to do, I don’t know where I’m going’ and asking for help.

    […] He told Sky News that Kebatu had been standing outside the prison for roughly 90 minutes, saying: ‘They [the officers] were basically sending him away, saying, ‘Go, you’ve been released, you go’.”
