The suspect was arrested, and the episode is being probed as a possible terror attack.

Another day, another Muslim knife attack in dystopian Europe.

Yesterday (10), it was the southern French city of Toulouse, where law enforcement officers were ambushed by a seemingly deranged man with a knife in each hand (some reports say he carried three knives).

To no one’s surprise, the man was reportedly shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ during the confrontation.

    Times Now reported:

“Two municipal police officers were stabbed Monday evening during an attack in central Toulouse, France, authorities said. The two officers, a man and a woman, were on foot patrol on Rue d’Austerlitz in the Wilson district when they were attacked by a man armed with several knives.”

“According to reports cited by local authorities, the suspect was carrying three knives.”

    The attacker yelled “Allahu Akbar.”

The officers approached after the suspect gestured to them. He then pulled a knife and lunged, targeting the male officer’s throat.

“The attacker allegedly approached the officers after gesturing toward them and then lunged at them with a knife. Reports said he targeted the male officer’s throat during the assault. Both officers sustained injuries, including wounds to their arms, but the injuries were described as minor.”

    FirstPost reported:

“Toulouse Mayor Jean-Luc Moudenc said that two police personnel were attacked with a bladed weapon while on duty in the Rue d’Austerlitz neighborhood of the city. He said the attacker ‘made statements of a terrorist nature’.

‘Statements of a terrorist nature were also reported. The two officers were taken to Rangueil University Hospital. The perpetrator was quickly arrested’, said Moudenc without providing further details.

The attack comes nearly two weeks after a man was arrested in Paris for attacking three women with kitchen knives. Knife attacks have emerged as a common method used by radicals in Europe as guns are tightly regulated while knives are readily accessible.”
