President Trump spoke at the 250th celebration of the US Navy in Norfolk, VA on Sunday and said some very kind words to our great men and women who serve our country.
“God Bless the United States Navy,” Trump said.
Jets flew over after President Trump’s statement. After that, the members of the US Navy were chanting, “USA, USA, USA!”

President Trump honored the Navy with fond words of inspiration.
“Those who call this carrier home, live by a motto that captures the spirit of America’s Navy. It’s very simple, the words, ‘give ’em hell!’” President Trump said.
“For two and a half centuries, that is what every generation of American sailors have done. You’ve conquered raging oceans and braved ferocious storms to vanquish America’s enemies on the high seas and distant shores,” President Trump said.
“The American sailor never quits, never fails, and never, ever lets us down,” President Trump continued.

President Trump said that with all of the great events during his term, the most important was celebrating the Navy’s 250th anniversary.
“You know what’s the most important? 250 years is the most important, above World Cup, above Olympic,” President Trump said.

President Trump told the Navy that he stands with them and will support them, including making sure they are paid even with the government shutdown. He also told them they will be receiving a pay raise.
“As your Commander-in-Chief, I will always stand for you. I promise you that,” President Trump said.
“Despite the current Democrat induced shutdown, we will get our service members every last penny,” Trump continued.
“Even more, because I’m supporting the across the board pay raises for every sailor and service member of the United States Armed Forces,” Trump said.
