President Trump held a press conference today in the Oval Office with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and Deputy Direct of the FBI, Kash Patel present.

Today during a press conference in the Oval Office, President Trump was asked a question regarding the upcoming Senate race in Georgia and whether or not he has chosen a candidate to endorse.  Jon Ossoff, a Democrat who allegedly won the 2021 Georgia run-off, will have to defend that seat in the 2026 midterm elections against several Republicans currently vying for the GOP nomination.

“I want to ask you about the Georgia Senate race.  I know it’s very early, but there are several Republicans in that field that are vying for your endorsement,” she asked before President Trump interjected that he knows all of them but hasn’t made a decision yet.

“A lot of good people in that field… I know all of them.  I haven’t made a decision on that yet, but you have some very good people in the Georgia Senate race,” President Trump responded before acknowledging that Brian Kemp has endorsed a candidate.

In classic Trump fashion, the President responded:

“I think it’s very important for Georgia to get a real Senator.  Because the Senator they have now is a horrible Senator.  He allows all the crime…his whole philosophy is a disaster.  That’s not representative of the people of Georgia.  I know the people of Georgia.  I won Georgia three times, but they say twice.  I won it very big the last time.  And I won it big the first time.  And I won it big the second time, but we had criminals that didn’t allow…I mean, I hope they’re going to go into that.  I hope they go into the votes, which are being stored in Fulton County, and take a real look at those votes.  Because I won it the second time, too.” (emphasis added)

Before the next question, Brian Glenn of Real America’s Voice chimed in, “By the way, you won Georgia three times.  For someone who spends a lot of time in Georgia, I believe you won Georgia…I know.”

The Gateway Pundit reported in early September that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) sent a formal request to the Department of Justice to investigate the 2020 election in Georgia, specifically the Secretary of State’s Office and Fulton County in regards to State Election Board (SEB) Complaint 2023-025.

Currently, there are several candidates vying for Georgia’s Republican nominee for the Senate race, including Mike Collins, who represents Georgia’s 10th District in the U.S. House, Rep. Buddy Carter from Georgia’s 1st District, Derek Dooley, a former University of Tennessee coach who has garnered Brian Kemp’s endorsement, and horse trainer Reagan Box.
