Russian aircraft said to have flown 700 meters into Lithuanian airspace.

    This time it’s not balloons?

Now that the Trump-Putin meeting has been indefinitely postponed, the terrain is prepared for the warmongering European Globalists to dial-up again the ‘drone scares’.

Today, the Baltic state of Lithuania accused Russian military of ‘briefly invading’ its airspace – a charge that in the recent past has been made and withdrawn, because as recently as yesterday, the ‘invaders’ turned out to be cigarette-smuggling balloons.

    Deutsche Welle reported:

“An SU-30 fighter and a refueling tanker entered the airspace of the NATO member country for 18 seconds, Lithuania’s military said.

Two aircraft belonging to the Russian military crossed the border and entered the airspace of NATO member Lithuania for 19 seconds, the country’s army said.”

The aircraft flew 700 meters into Lithuania from the Russian Kaliningrad region, apparently due to a refueling training mission.

Today, the Russian charge d‘affaires was summoned to protest the airspace violation by two military aircraft. Russia must cease its aggressive behaviour, respect international law and the borders of neighbouring states. pic.twitter.com/00y60CwHJw

    Newsweek reported:

“Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said Thursday that Russian military aircraft violated Lithuania’s airspace, calling the incursion a blatant breach of the country’s sovereignty and international law.”

“’This is a blatant breach of international law and the territorial integrity of Lithuania’, Nausėda wrote on the social media platform X. ‘Once again, it confirms the importance of strengthening European air defense readiness’.

The Baltic nations have grown increasingly concerned over Russia’s actions amid its ongoing war in Ukraine.

A series of recent drone incidents and airspace violations by Russian warplanes has fueled fears that President Vladimir Putin may be testing NATO’s defensive response.”
