Islamo-Marxist Abdul El-Sayed defeated the so-called moderate Democrat in the Michigan senatorial race on Tuesday night.
Stevens was backed by Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Senator Chuck Schumer. They lost bigly.
El-Sayed will now face former Rep. Mike Rogers, who ran unopposed in the GOP primary, in the November general election.
El-Sayed has denied that he is a socialist, but he’s attended and spoken at at least six DSA events over the years, according to Fox.
“I’m not technically or practically DSA,” he claimed in an interview last month. “I am not somebody who is a socialist. I believe in capitalism; I just believe that capitalism has to be regulated.” He’s also been described as “a longtime friend of Detroit DSA” during a 2019 event where he was photographed with Socialist Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
Just a day before the election, El-Sayed was spotted at a pool party with Jew-hating communist influencer Hasan Piker and Socialist House candidates Melat Kiros (CO) and Chris Rabb (PA).
Outgoing Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer threw their support and with it, big establishment money behind Haley Stevens. Outside groups dumped more than $60 million into Stevens’ campaign.
El-Sayed was backed by progressives like Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
This is a must-win for Republicans.

El-Sayed took a massive lead of nearly 30% in the early vote totals.
