An alleged illegal alien drunk driver crashed into DOJ Pardon Attorney Ed Martin on Friday night.

According to Ed Martin, two drunk Hispanic non-Americans were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, and they both fled on foot.

The car was registered to an unknown person.

Ed Martin appears to be uninjured.

“Just got rear ended at a red light. Car driven by 2 Hispanic non Americans. Beer bottles all over the floor of the car,” Ed Martin said on Friday evening.

“The 2 fled the scene on foot – 1 was so drunk that he came back to get his stuff from the smoking car. No insurance. Car registered to some unknown. Lawless in USA,” Ed Martin said.

Ed Martin is currently serving as the US Pardon Attorney in the Trump Justice Department.

“Edward R. Martin Jr. was appointed the U.S. Pardon Attorney on May 14, 2025. He was also named by President Donald J. Trump to serve as the Director of the Weaponization Working Group for the Department of Justice. He previously served as the Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia where he led the office responsible for prosecuting local and federal cases in the nation’s capital,” the DOJ said.

“Martin, a New Jersey native, is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, where he completed an Indonesian Studies program while studying abroad in Indonesia, the Pontifical Gregorian University, where he interned on the personal senior staff of Pope John Paul, II and Saint Louis University, where he received his J.D.,” the DOJ said.
