All around the world, Globalist-Liberals have lost the culture war, and their ruinous policies have been repeatedly exposed as the catastrophe that they are.
But in academia, insanity continues unabated, and biased individuals continue to churn out ‘studies’ and ‘papers’ that are headed straight to the trash can of history.
In Austria, one such aberration has come to light.
A Viennese ‘fashion researcher’ (you already know it’s going to be bad) wasted almost half a million dollars of taxpayers’ money to investigate polo shirts, the “Old Money” look, or the “tradwife” trend in connection with ‘right-wing tendencies.’
Freilich Magazine reported (translated from the German):
“What used to be associated with bomber jackets and combat boots is said to be much more difficult to recognize today. According to the Viennese fashion researcher Elke Gaugele, the spectrum of clothing styles she studied now ranges from streetwear to the so-called ‘old money’ look to polo shirts or the ‘tradwife’ style.
This means that her research focuses on garments and fashion trends that are worn by millions of people, regardless of political attitudes. As part of a three-year research project at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, the scientist says she is investigating the development of clothing styles and fashion brands since 1989, which she sees in connection with right-wing extremist milieus. The project is funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) with around 400,000 euros in public funds.”
Apparently, Gaugele sees the feared ‘far-right’ wherever she looks.
“According to the researcher, the clothing styles of different political milieus are often very similar today. In her opinion, differences can often only be made out on the basis of individual symbols, certain hairstyles or small identifying marks.
[…] According to the project’s findings, the spectrum of clothing styles studied today ranges from sporty streetwear with hoodies to the ‘old money’ aesthetic with deliberately restrained clothing, such as polo shirts. Gaugele sees this as a strategic realignment of the fashion labels she is investigating.”
