Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk just delivered a devastating reality check to the legacy media in a fiery interview with The Economist editor-in-chief Zanny Minton Beddoes.

The fiery exchange occurred during a 90-minute interview recorded at a Tesla factory in Texas and published Thursday.

When the globalist outlet accused Musk of supporting not only the “populist right,” but also the “far right” and “very fringe parties” in Europe.

Musk immediately rejected her loaded characterization.

“No, I support the normal people—what you call the far right, falsely,” Musk fired back.

He then challenged Beddoes to explain which of his supposedly “extreme” principles she found so objectionable.

“Here are the principles, and tell me which of these sound terrible: that we should have secure borders, that we should have safe cities, that we should have sensible spending,” Musk said.

“Which of those three are far-right fringe?”

Of course, the reporter could not identify which of those basic principles supposedly qualified as “extremist.”

Musk then looked directly into the camera and delivered a blistering rebuke of the dishonest media narrative.

“I would just like to admonish you and the media for the absurd characterization of the far right,” Musk declared. “It is false, misleading, and nonsense!”

“Please keep this part in. Don’t cut this part.”

“We’ll keep all of it in,” Beddoes responded.

In the same interview, Beddoes tried a different angle, pressing Musk on why some people “loathe” him and whether his actions help Western democracy.

Musk’s response was pure, unfiltered fire:

“Yes, some people do. But I don’t care.”

When she pushed again, he flipped the script hard:

“Maybe some people do loathe me. And that’s probably true. I don’t care. But the fact that, as you pointed out, a quarter billion people follow me is that I think a lot more people actually like me than don’t. And I think a lot more people hate you and the media more than you realize.”

    Brutal. Accurate.
