The western hemisphere is fighting back.

Colombia’s new president, Abelardo ‘El Tigre’ de la Espriella, has asked US leader Donald J. Trump for US military assistance to combat drug traffickers in the country.

With this move, Trump’s ‘Shield of the Americas’ kicks into high gear, and the Cartels finally have a powerful coalition lined up against them.

IT’S OFFICIAL: Colombia’s new right-wing President “El Tigre” has just asked President Trump to deploy the US MILITARY against drug cartels, inside Colombia

“End them like cockroaches. Like rats.”

    The Telegraph reported

“Abelardo de la Espriella, also known as ‘El Tigre’, took office on Aug 7 after campaigning on taking an aggressive, zero-tolerance approach to the country’s drug economy.

He threatened a bombing campaign against traffickers and promised to build a swath of El Salvador-style mega-prisons to house criminals involved in the narcotics trade.

‘Colombia has already requested that the department of war join Colombia in its fight against narco-terrorism, authorizing joint military operations to destroy terrorists and terror networks’, Pete Hegseth, the US defense secretary, said at a summit of the Americas Counter-Cartel Coalition in Panama on Wednesday.”

‘El Tigre’, never one to mince words, vowed to capture and kill cartel leaders. ‘I’ll hunt them like rats’, he said.

At the Panama summit, Colombia signed the agreement to become the 19th member of the ‘Shield of the Americas’ coalition.

“The new Colombian president’s rhetoric matches that of the Trump administration, which has designated some Latin American drug trafficking groups as terrorist organizations.

That characterization has emboldened the US to pursue military action against those groups, striking dozens of boats in the Caribbean and the eastern Pacific that the administration has accused of involvement in the drug trade. The strikes have killed at least 221 people.”
