Fake News CNN cut off House Speaker Mike Johnson on Thursday as he attacked the Democrats for shutting down the government over healthcare funding for illegal aliens.

Earlier this week, Vice President JD Vance made it clear that Democrats are refusing to keep the government open because they are prioritizing illegal aliens.

“Democrats want a $1.5 trillion spending package that funded free health care for illegals. We told them that was absurd, and now they’re willing to shut down the government over it. It’s unacceptable,” Vance said earlier this week after a meeting with top Democrats Schumer and Jeffries.

On October 1 at 12:01 am, the government partially shut down because two measures failed in the Senate. The measures to reopen the government failed again on Wednesday morning.

CNN cut Speaker Johnson off as he said the Democrats blocked the GOP-backed bills to give illegal aliens free healthcare.

The House passed a clean, short-term stopgap funding bill to keep the government open. Schumer rejected it.

    Johnson laid it out clearly:

    • Democrats demanded restoring healthcare access for illegal aliens.
    • They wanted $500 million funneled back to leftist PBS propaganda.
    • They tried to slash funding for rural hospitals that serve working-class Americans.
    • They demanded $1.5 trillion in NEW spending tied to just a seven-week funding measure.

Instead of working with Republicans to responsibly extend funding until November, Schumer chose a shutdown.

CNN absurdly claimed that the Democrats don’t want to give illegal aliens healthcare.

“CNN is not a NEWS organization. They cut off the Republican press conference to CENSOR the truth from the American people and LIE about indisputable FACTS,” Mike Johnson said.

“On page 57 of the Democrat’s OWN bill – they insist we restore $200 BILLION in health care subsidies for illegal aliens,” he added. “CNN must correct this.”
