A sickening video has emerged showing a vicious and horrific beatdown of a helpless old man in one of the most crime-ridden cities in America.
As CBS News reported, the Baltimore Police Department released surveillance footage on Thursday showing six armed young men beating the absolute tar out of a 74-year-old man outside a 7-Eleven on the northwest side of the city.
Specifically, the incident occurred at 3:24 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, in front of the store on Liberty Heights Avenue, across from Mondawmin Mall.
Footage shows the victim standing outside the 7-Eleven entrance when two of the thugs run up to him with a firearm.
Four other hoodlums later joined the group. They all start shoving the old man and throwing unknown items at him before knocking him to the ground.
They proceed to pound the victim in the head and kick him several times while he’s on the ground.
The thugs flee after several minutes while the old man struggles to get up.

Despite footage capturing the suspects in the act, Baltimore police have yet to make a single arrest in the attack.
WBAT-TV spoke to several Baltimore residents and customers of the 7-Eleven who expressed their disgust over the attack.
“I see a lot of kids in that video. Senseless, senseless, senseless, right? Senseless,” said De’Andre Jones, of Baltimore.
“I mean, to me, they are some cowards, to be honest with you,” Birch Bark stated.
“This is wrong. You get what I’m saying, bro? Four in the morning, y’all should be in the house getting ready to wake up for the next day, but instead, y’all here terrorizing the old people,” said Marcello Winslow.
Per WBAL-TV, the victim was treated at a hospital for bruises and a hand injury of unknown severity.
