The rise of AI Data centers and AI technology has become a controversial issue, to say the least, as more start to become skeptical of AI’s future role in society and that it is being used to spy on Americans. Is it necessary for human evolution, or will it one day overcome humanity’s grip on the world?
One California resident is strongly against AI technology. Why? Because it’s used against him both at work and at home. His name is Alfredo Luna.
The Gateway Pundit spoke to Luna about his situation.
“I’m 50 years old and I was born in San Pedro, California. I have two biological children with my wife Gladys, a son and a daughter, 16 and 13 respectively,” Luna told TGP in an exclusive interview.
“It happened years ago. I’m a musician, I like music and poetry. I even wrote some songs on politics. Right now I’m a truck driver by trade. I drive big extremely heavy trucks, that’s my bread and butter.”
Luna told TGP AI technology is being used to spy on him both at work and at home:
“There’s technology that has the power to go inside your home, listen to your conversations. It follows me everywhere whether I’m driving or home. I truly feel like sometimes I’m in the Truman Show, where everyone knows what I’m doing except me. I would go straight to a lawyer; I could see a lawyer easily finding a violation. That’s my argument. I feel it violates my 4th Amendment Rights, my Civil Rights, and my Human Rights.”
Luna noted that “the only ones to experience this are people around him.”
“If someone is around me, they become part of the ‘show’ and my experience. Unfortunately the ones that suffer the most are my wife and kids because they are constantly with me, especially at home. I’ve been seeing these stories on other platforms. This will become the norm in the future and I’m advocating for this to not happen to anyone else,” Luna told TGP.
Luna is also suspicious that the government may be involved in this massive surveillance program.
“Who would spend so much money to do so? That always comes to my mind. It’s expensive to run, so my conclusion is either the government is involved or the government knows. Could be an entity that knows. I also came to the conclusion that some companies don’t regulate this. It’s not regulated, there’s no laws, nobody knows that this is happening,” Luna told TGP.
According to Luna, he has been under government surveillance since the Bush Administration.
“My main ordeal happened through the Bush Administration. I actually wrote a song about 9/11. In the song I indicated that it was the government that did this. Within this time frame the Patriot Act came out. Anyone that was speaking bad about the government was a target. I became a target. It kind of reminds me of being the lone soldier, still suffering after the war was ended.”
Luna wondered why this technology is not being “used more against” criminals and terrorists.
“If this technology exists to go after me, then why is it not being used to go after criminals, terrorists, and anybody that violates the law? I think it’s a tool the government should use to go after people that are on the bad side of the law. This technology isn’t going away, but it should be regulated and not used against citizens, like myself, with no criminal record. The only reason they are going after me is because of my political stances, both past and present. That’s freedom of speech, I can write a song about anything. If it rubs you the wrong way, you shouldn’t be able to punish anyone for it.”
Luna decided to seek refuge in Mexico several years ago and praised President Trump:
“I decided to seek refuge in Mexico in 2019 and I went as far to even reach out to the Mexican President at the time, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. I didn’t reach out to President Trump in his first term because he was fighting his own battles. Reaching him was always going to be my end goal, because when he came in, he started exposing the corruption in politics and the media.”
A reporter named Marco Olvera even mentioned Luna’s situation to President Obrador.
Luna then blasted the left for favoring Black Americans over Mexican Americans, who come to the United States Legally. The left pretends to be the “side of tolerance,” but won’t prioritize different minority groups equally.
“I am of Mexican descent. The media has never taken me seriously. Nobody stands up for us. If I was African American than people was say ‘oh how dare they’.”
Luna has reached out to the federal government, President Trump, Senator Adam Schiff, Rep. Juan Vargas, and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who is very interested in the issue of data centers, but could not because she represents a district in Florida, not California.
“My California Reps don’t care. If I was an illegal then they would care a lot. It feels like the Democratic Party doesn’t care, not just that, they won’t do anything about it,” Luna told TGP.
Luna again took the opportunity to praise President Trump’s administration. He credits the Trump administration with the rise of independent reporters:
“We have an administration that’s willing to expose the things that past administrations have done. As a result, we now have independent reporters in the White House and outside of it.”
The White House even wrote back to Luna:
Luna ends the interview by revealing that he wishes to file lawsuits over the violation of his 4th Amendment Rights and Civil Rights:
“I want to sue for $1 million for every day this has happened to me. It’s been roughly a year so far, so that’s at least $365 million. Let’s say it’s more than a year, maybe 5-10, or even all the way back to the Bush Administration. That would add up to billions of dollars for every day my 4th Amendment Rights and Civil Rights have been violated.”
Privacy concerns have been an ongoing issue as the rise of AI continues in our society, with suspicions that the U.S. government is spying on the American people, suspicions that have been growing over the past few decades.
One question that must be asked from time to time is how far are we willing to go with technology until it becomes just too much for society to handle?
