Steve Witkoff, lead negotiator for Trump.

Only Witkoff has had the stones to say the obvious truth about the Ukraine war to their faces.

While many liberals were (and are) skeptical of the qualifications of Donald J. Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff to conduct high-level negotiations on behalf of the US, by now, the real-estate magnate has proven them all wrong.

He has become one of Trump’s main ‘miracle-makers’ in many difficult negotiations, including the middle-east and the war in Ukraine.

Concerning last Friday’s meeting between Trump and Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky, reports have arisen saying that Trump’s lead negotiator pushed the Ukrainians to hand over the part of the Donetsk region that they still hold to Russia, in order to end the war in Ukraine.

    The Telegraph reported:

“Steve Witkoff, who has met with Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, five times this year, told the Ukrainian delegation visiting the White House last Friday to surrender the territory its forces control.

It is one of the key demands made by Putin, who made clear in a phone call with Mr. Trump last week that he still wants Ukraine to give up the stretch of land as a precondition for peace.”

“Our country is blessed to have a negotiator of such skill and experience who really selflessly steps up to the plate, puts himself forward all the time. “Kyiv still holds about a quarter of Donetsk province. The land makes up part of the so-called “fortress belt”, a string of heavily defended towns that blocks Russia from making rapid westward advances towards the capital.

In a meeting at the Oval Office, Mr Witkoff, whose official title is special envoy to the Middle East, noted that most of the population in Donetsk grew up speaking Russian, two senior officials familiar with the conversation told The Washington Post.”

Witkoff has met 5 times with Putin, this year.

In the Thursday (16) call with Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly said Russia could cede parts of the Zaporozhye and Kherson provinces conquered by Moscow.
