President Trump has responded to the “No Kings” rallies, which were held on Saturday, and revealed a telling miscalculation the Democrats made by shuttering the federal government.

Trump sat down with Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo for an exclusive interview, which was released on Sunday. The president discussed his historic business deals, which are bringing billions in investments to America,

Bartiromo also asked about the government shutdown and the “No Kings” rallies, inquiring whether they were connected.

Trump inferred that this was possible while also breaking the news to uninformed leftists that he is a president, not a king. He then revealed the “one mistake” Chuck Schumer and his fellow Democrats made by shutting down the government.

“They’re referring to me as a king. I’m not a king,” says @POTUS.

“They made one mistake. They didn’t realize that [the Democrat Shutdown] gives me the right to cut programs… giveaways, welfare programs, etc., and we’re doing that. We’re cutting them permanently.” pic.twitter.com/teTquv1d5d

BARTIROMO: Do you think that the government shutdown is all about this “No Kings” rally that is happening this weekend?

TRUMP: There’s some people who say they want to delay it for that.

They’re referring to me as a king. I’m not a king.

BARTIROMO: But so Chuck Schumer could say he’s going and fighting Trump.

TRUMP: Chuck is at the end of the line. He’s being beaten by everybody that they poll against him.

He did the right thing a couple of years ago on something like this (keeping the government open), and he got hurt by his party.

It doesn’t matter to him. It’s just that he’s so dead he’ll do anything.

I think they could just stay out forever, just to be honest with you! They made one mistake: they didn’t realize that (the Schumer Shutdown) gives me the right to cut programs that Republicans never wanted.

Giveaways, welfare programs, etc., and we’re doing that. We’re cutting them permanently.

OMB Director Russ Vought has served as the tip of the spear, freezing billions of dollars in wasteful projects in Democrat-controlled states.

This includes $18 billion in New York City infrastructure projects have been put on hold to ensure funding is not flowing based on unconstitutional DEI principles.

Democrats’ pain will continue until they end the shutdown and work with Republicans on a long-term funding bill.
