Marc Benioff of Salesforce – Screencap of YouTube video.

The Gateway Pundit reported that liberal Marc Benioff the founder and CEO of Salesforce who has been extremely critical of President Trump in the past, is now he is calling for Trump to send the National Guard to San Francisco.

While Benioff may be overcoming Trump Derangement Syndrome and putting the safety of Americans first, unfortunately for him, his friends on the left are not so forgiving. In fact, they’re outraged and feel like he has betrayed them.

    Politico reports:

Benioff, speaking to The New York Times in an interview published Friday, said he was “all for” deploying Guard troops with the goal of fighting crime in the city. In the same interview, Benioff said Trump is “doing a great job” as president.

“I fully support the president,” Benioff told the Times.

Benioff’s support for Trump and Guard deployment cuts against his years of lavish giving and full-throated support for Democratic causes, even as other tech titans shifted toward Trump.

One such unforgiving friend/colleague is longtime Democrat donor Ron Conway.

Conway is a prominent Silicon Valley venture capitalist who recently resigned from the board of the Salesforce Foundation, as making cities safer appears to upset him.

Conway cited “a dramatic ideological rift” with  Benioff over his “political shift” and “comments regarding the deployment of National Guard troops to San Francisco.”

According to the San Francisco Standard, Conway submitted his resignation in a heated email sent to Benioff Thursday morning that has been obtained by The Standard.

“It saddens me immensely to say that with your recent comments, and failure to understand their impact, I now barely recognize the person I have so long admired,” Conway’s email to Benioff said.

“I have expressed candidly to you, repeatedly, in recent days, that I am shocked and disappointed by your comments calling for an unwanted invasion of San Francisco by federal troops, and by your willful ignorance and detachment from the impacts of the ICE immigration raids of families with NO criminal record, efforts to gerrymander elections, attacks on freedom of speech, and other unlawful policies,” Conway’s message continued.

    ********

“We have deep gratitude for Ron Conway and his incredible contributions to the Salesforce Foundation Board for over a decade,” the spokesperson said.

Joe Hoft reported that Salesforce is a major funder to the Deep State funding arm, intent on destroying America, according to a recent report.

“Salesforce’s funneling of funds through Tides is precisely how corporate philanthropy can feed the protest-industrial complex,” said Seamus Bruner, the director of research at the Government Accountability Institute.

From 2022 to 2024, the Salesforce Foundation, the company’s 501(c)(3) offshoot, directly gave various Tides entities a total of $27.4 million in grant money, according to tax filings, though those donations were earmarked for a wide range of vaguely described causes, such as “employment opportunities,” “general support,” “youth development,” and “solving homelessness.”

The absurdity of two billionaires arguing over making their community safer for the “little people” is almost too absurd to bear.
