Cryin’ Chuck Schumer Is Laughed Out of the Senate after Alleging NYT Poll Blaming Dems for Shutdown Is “Biased” | The Gateway Pundit

Schumer was laughed out of the US Senate after claiming a NY Times poll was biased against Democrats.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, the government is expected to shut down tonight at midnight because Democrats refuse to vote for a stopgap bill unless they can secure $1.5 trillion in spending that will fund healthcare for illegal aliens and sex reassignment surgery for children.

Senate Democrats have been fighting a Trump-backed stopgap bill that would fund the government until November 21.

On Tuesday night Senate Democrats voted to shut down the US government. The vote was 53-47 along party lines. Seven Democrats would have had to vote with Republicans to prevent the shutdown that will take place at 12:01 AM tonight.

The radical policies that they’re pushing only appeal to the radical wing of the Democratic Party, and almost half of Democrats do not want a government shutdown.

Earlier today a New York Times/Sienna poll found that 65% of Americans, nearly 2/3’s, believe Democrats should not shut down the government.

That number included 98% of Republicans and nearly half of all Democrats who took part in the poll.

Poll results showing public opinion on whether Democrats should shut down the government if demands are unmet, with 27% in favor and 65% against.

But this did not stop Cryin’ Chuck Schumer from spinning the poll’s results.

Schumer even alleged the poll — by the far left New York Times – was “biased.”

    What a joke!

Schumer was laughed out of the chamber with that line.

Democrats will say anything to avoid blame for their actions.
